TKOart partnered with Ameristar Casino Resort on a large-scale renovation and expansion, delivering a comprehensive art program across more than 400,000 square feet, including gaming areas, guest rooms, restaurants, and public spaces.
Casino environments require artwork that performs under constant use while supporting distinct atmospheres across a wide range of spaces. TKOart's team of hospitality art consultants developed an art program that addressed durability, thematic variation, and consistency across seven branded areas within the property.
TKOart managed the curation, production, and installation of over 6,000 pieces of artwork, working across gaming floors, guest rooms, restaurants, the spa, and convention spaces. The program included a mix of custom commissions, sourced artwork, and integrated design elements, each selected to align with the architectural context and functional demands of the environment.

Our favorite kind of project is one where we can affect good positive change and save the client money. Having control over all art-related aspects gives us the chance to really excel and create something spectacular.
The Ameristar project is the kind of engagement that reveals what a consulting firm is actually made of. Seven distinct environments, thousands of individual pieces, materials specified for conditions ranging from a spa to a casino floor, and all of it coordinated through a single point of contact. TKOart's ability to hold creative and logistical ownership across every phase is what allowed the program to stay coherent at that scale rather than fragmenting across vendors and departments.
